The Power is back on!

While the power was knocked out today prior to the start of classes MMS is proud to state that we perservered. We began on time with our custom of honoring America by reciting the Pledge to the Flag and then went into first period. P.G.&E. was able to restore power before the end of the period and second period began on time.

Once again; the faculty, staff, and students proved that the MMS Bears are tough.

We thank P.G.&E. for a job well done. Thanks also go out to the support staff of MCUSD who jumped right in and helped.

Happy New Year!

Students have returned to school and we are back into our routines. New elective classes began this week. 7th grade students who wrote notes of thanks to Veterans for their sacrifice have been receiving letters back from the Veterans. The connection between our students and those brave Veterans has had a profound effect on our students. The 7th graders are looking into the possibility of sponsoring a collection drive to send treats to some of the military forces in the Middle East.

Thanks Veterans!

Go Bears!
